Join Genomenon at ASHG 2017

The Genomenon team is off to the American Society of Genetic Counselors (ASHG) Conference from October 17th through 20th.  We’ve got some exciting news to share including a Free Edition of the Mastermind Genomic Search Engine and our partnership with LifeOmic.

Please join us at one of our 2 CoLabs where Q2 Solutions and LifeOmic will be discussing how they use Mastermind for genomic interpretation

1) Faster, Comprehensive Variant Curation for Whole Genome Sequencing

Wednesday, October 18, 1:45 PM, CoLab Data Track #159 in Exhibit Hall

Dr. Tom Barber, Vice President of Genomics, LifeOmic

Curating variants from whole genome sequencing (WGS) can be time consuming, labor intensive, and expensive. Dr. Barber will discuss how the precision medicine-focused solution provider has accelerated its interpretation pipeline with prioritized, comprehensive literature search results from the Mastermind Genomic Search Engine.

2) Mining the Genomic Literature for Evidence-Based Panel Design

Wednesday, October 18, 3:15 PM, CoLab Data Track #159 in Exhibit Hall

Dr. Victor Weigman, Director, Translational Genomics at Q2 Solutions

Dr. Weigman will present a reproducible method used to select the content for an AML gene panel by mining millions of full text genomic articles to identify disease-gene-variant relationships through Mastermind. Q2 was able to develop a comprehensive list of genes associated with AML in the scientific literature to create an evidence-based gene panel in under a week.

Stop by Genomenon’s Booth #508 and you can receive your license to Mastermind Free Edition.

Hope to see you there!
